International Volunteer Project in Ghana

At United Through Sport Ghana the success of our projects are a direct result of the participation and dedication of international volunteers.

The International Volunteer Project makes our programmes more cost effective as well as adding elements of cultural exchange and skill transfer for both our kids and our volunteers. The volunteers at United Through Sport Ghana pass on valuable knowledge, which the kids can benefit hugely from. When interacting with the volunteers the kids will improve in many areas such as, their spoken English, confidence, self-esteem, culture awareness and sporting knowledge.

We provide a range of volunteer sports coaching projects and travel opportunities for people on a gap year, career break or just for someone wanting a meaning full trip abroad. Our placements are mainly grouped into sports and non-sports category as follows:

As part of the International Volunteer Project in Ghana we offer volunteers a life changing experience as well as extremely useful careers related opportunities. Please take note that we need to cover our costs associated to running the volunteer project, which also provides an essential revenue source to keep the charity sustainable. The cost covers accommodation, meals, 24 hour in-country support, airport pick-up, weekend excursions and many cultural activities.
